Must depend on the size. Mine at $187 a piece before rebate (sport 02s). Not bad though for tire rack. My dealer installed tires are $145 a piece.
I run the first generation of these on my Porsche Cayman, and they're a great alternative to the Michelin PS4S! I only really use it for street driving and have no complaints rain or shine. They're actually rated extremely well for rain (even better than Michelin I think). These are definitely for a niche set of cars, but absolutely worth it!

2 different tires in different categories. One is all weather touring tire the other a uhp all season. How much winter do you have?

Also you got it the other way around. The General tire is a rebadged Continental.
I've had the Continental ExtremeContact (the previous version) for over 4 years now and they are great performance tires, little stiff ride, good treadwear, great cornering, quiet and best traction among performance tires in the snow and heavy rain if that matters to you.
