I know the Rotring 800 has a retractable tip, but this is a 600, with a fixed tip.

Didn't know ballpoint pens used graphite.

Just looked into the ink refill, and it looks like it's essentially the entire ink casing including the tip. So at that point, are u just using the rotring for the grip?
Yeah. Grip and balance. The stock ink didn't flow well for me. Maybe my writing style
