Thank you, but I actually prefer the a35. I was actually eyeing it as the phone I wanted to buy, but there were no good deals on it except greyware non-USA models.

Better performance to last a few upgrades, slightly bigger screen, better battery life.

My only gripe with this deal is that $150 phone makes my strategy of using AMEX to get a second year of warranty almost pointless. They limit the claim to the price of the phone (not the price of the phone and plan). I'd rather pay $300 for the phone and get the plan free.

The a55 hasn't been released in the USA. Maybe you mean the a54 (which is very similar to this a35)? https://www.hsn.com/products/trac...a/22871204

They are nearly identical phones - same processor and features with only tiny differences between the two:
- a35 has slightly larger screen
- a54 has a slightly better widescreen camera
- a35 has one year more of upgrades (because it's one year newer)
- a54 had heat issues that were fixed in the a35 (not a big issue)
- a54 has HDR certification
- a35 has OneUI 6.1/Android 14 now. a54 will get it soon.
